# How to register MetaMask Account?

After installing MetaMask extension the Welcome Page will be opened.

&#x20;1\. Press “Get Started” to start the registration process.

&#x20;2\. Press Create a Wallet.

&#x20;3\. Create and repeat the password.

&#x20;4\. Watch the short video by MetaMask Team to secure your wallet and press "NEXT".

&#x20;5\. Get your secret recovery phrase by pressing on "CLICK HERE TO REVEL SECRET WORDS" and save it safely. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE ACCESS TO YOUR SECRET KEY.

&#x20;6 . Click next and input your recovery phrase in the right order by clicking on the words and press "NEXT".

Congratulations, your registration is completed. Press "All Done" to start using your wallet.
